The Vancouver Canucks have signed defenceman Christian Wolanin to a one-year, two-way contract, general manager Patrik Allvin announced Thursday afternoon.

Wolanin, 27, is a 6’2 left shot defenceman who spent most of last season in the AHL with the Ontario Reign. He registered 18 points through 37 games during the regular season before recording a goal and three assists through five Calder Cup Playoff games.

Through 70 career NHL contests, the 2015 Ottawa Senators fourth round pick has tallied six goals and 14 assists.

Additionally, Brad Hunt, the Maple Ridge product who appeared in 50 games for the Canucks last season, has signed a two-year contract in Colorado, according to Rick Dhaliwal.

Ashton Sautner has also signed in Winnipeg, according to Dhaliwal.

More to come.
