A new docuseries is headed our way on Apple TV+, spearheaded by Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton! The new series, Gutsy, will premiere later this year. The doc features the Clintons and their intimate conversations with trailblazing women.

The show is based on the duo’s New York Times bestselling book, The Book of Gutsy Women. The project is executive produced by Hillary and Chelsea, alongside Johnny Webb, Siobhan Sinnerton, Roma Khanna, Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver and Anna Chai. Chai also serves as showrunner. Apple by HiddenLight Productions, in association with Left/Right LLC, is producing alongside Kevin Vargas and Claire Featherstone.

Gutsy release date

The upcoming docuseries is coming to Apple TV+ on Friday, Sept. 9 as an eight-part documentary event. All eight episodes will be released on premiere day.

Gutsy synopsis

The Clintons will embark on a journey to celebrate the women who inspire them. The duo will be speaking with pioneering women artists, activists, community leaders, and everyday heroes who they believe made an impact on their community and the world.

Some of the powerful women we can expect to see are Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Dr. Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, and more. The mother-daughter bond will also be a focal point, showcasing the multi-generational way they approach important and timely issues highlighted in each episode.
