The Big Show doesn’t want giants in pro wrestling to have pressure on their larger than life shoulders.

While Paul Wight is likely done with full time active competition, that doesn’t mean he cant still defend other giants of the sport against fans. Wight is currently signed to AEW and is recovering from multiple surgeries at this time.

Speaking with The Sportster, Paul Wight said that he doesn’t want fans to criticize the new crop of giants immediately. He believes that patience is the key when it comes to these guys getting over with the crowd.

It’s about giving these guys time to adjust and not rushing them. You can’t expect Omos and some of these other giant big guys to work to the level of like a Kane, or Undertaker, or somebody like that right off the bat. You just can’t. You’ve got to give them time to get their reps in and be patient, and hopefully, the audiences will do that.

Time will tell if pro wrestling fans will be patient with the current crop of giants in the sport. With young stars like Omos and Satnam Singh, perhaps fans should be more patient with the giants.
