2 hurt when car rear-ends front-end loader south of Memphis

MEMPHIS, Mo. —
Two people were hurt late Tuesday morning when a car rear-ended a front-end loader in Scotland County.

It happened just before 11:30 a.m. on Route MM, one-and-a-half miles south of Memphis.
State troopers said both vehicles were northbound when a car driven by Burbert Fountain, 82, of Rutledge, struck a slow-moving front-end loader in the rear.
The front-end loader was driven by Hannah Miller, 23, of Memphis.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to Scotland County Hospital, one by ambulance and the other in a private vehicle.
According to the online crash report, Fountain was buckled up. Miller was not wearing a seat belt.
