We have a slew of warnings, watches and advisories ahead of this major storm that is moving up the East Coast. High wind warnings are up for parts of New York City & all of Long Island, Southern Westchester, Coastal Connecticut to Rhode Island and Southeastern New England. The Kankakee County Sheriff's office responded to a call at 7:30 a.m. to find groups of migrants, lacking essentials, left in the cold after a journey from El Paso, Texas.

A video has been released, showing the struggles faced by a large group of migrants left stranded at the train station in Winfield, Illinois, located in the western suburbs of Chicago. The footage, shared by Mark Davis, captures the migrants being dropped off on Friday afternoon. The Winfield train station, had no staff available to help the arrivals and lacked facilities for the asylum seekers, to use after being bused up from Texas, making for a challenging situation. Wrapped in blankets, many migrants, including children in sweatshirts, were visibly without warm outerwear or coats. With less than 10,000 residents, Winfield Illinois would be hard pressed to find the resources to help migrants get resettled. According to the individual sharing the footage, a significant number of migrants boarded a metro train destined for Chicago.
