Lily James is unrecognizable in new goth-glam Versace campaign

Lily James is a true style chameleon.

Earlier this year, the actress made headlines with her jaw-dropping transformation into Pamela Anderson for Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” — and now, she’s going goth for Versace.

In the fashion house’s new fall 2022 campaign highlighting its Greca Goddess bags, the British beauty rocks a jet-black wig, bleached eyebrows and black latex.

One shot sees the 33-year-old striking a pose in a corseted black dress, liquid-like gloves and dark purple lipstick; in another, she cradles a classical statue in a clingy red look.

“When Lily got in front of the camera she transformed!” designer Donatella Versace, who posted snaps from the set of the shoot on Instagram, said in a statement.

“Wearing the collection unlocked her own personal attitude and she took on a new energy and power. That’s exactly how you should feel when wearing Versace!”

A press release from the brand described James’ “impulsive and daring attitude” as “the epitome of Versace confidence.”

Fans couldn’t get over the star’s look for the ads. “I would never have recognised you,” one wrote, while several called the shots “absolutely stunning.”

Dramatic as her latest metamorphosis may be, we doubt James spent four hours in hair and makeup for her Versace shoot, as she did every day while filming “Pam & Tommy.”

To play the “Baywatch” bombshell, the actress wore prosthetic breasts and teeth along with four different wigs, and even had her forehead, eyebrows, eyes, lips and fingernails altered to look just like Anderson’s.
