Luann de Lesseps shoots her shot to be cast in ‘Funny Girl’ amid shake-up

Hello, countess!

“Housewife”-turned-cabaret chanteuse Luann de Lesseps is more than willing to take over the role of Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl” on Broadway.

“Just call me. I’m in! #FunnyGirl @FunnyGirlBwy,” the reality star, 57, tweeted Monday.

Like de Lesseps, Broadway was abuzz this week over the backstage intrigue and casting news surrounding the musical’s revival.

Current star Beanie Feldstein announced Sunday night that she was bowing out of the show at the end of the month instead of Sept. 25, a scant four months since she started playing the role originated by Barbra Streisand.

“Once the production decided to take the show in a different direction, I made the extremely difficult decision to step away sooner than anticipated,” the “Impeachment: American Crime Story” star cryptically wrote on Instagram.

Page Six exclusively reported that Feldstein, 29, had been “basically fired” due to poor reviews of her performance and declining ticket sales.

The next day, the “Funny Girl” team hurriedly announced that “Glee” alum Lea Michele will take on the iconic character — a role she has long coveted.

“A dream come true is an understatement,” Michele, 35, wrote on Instagram. “I’m so incredibly honored to join this amazing cast and production and return to the stage playing Fanny Brice on Broadway.”

De Lesseps, who has released singles like “Money Can’t Buy You Class” and “Feelin’ Jovani,” headlined her own cabaret show called #CountessandFriends in 2018. Since then, she has taken the show on the road.
