GRADY COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — Emergency crews responded to a train wreck outside of Chickasha Monday afternoon.
McIntyre Law Chopper 4 was above the scene and reports a tractor trailer cab was hit by the train and traveled about a quarter-of-a-mile down the tracks as the train came to a stop.
According to the incident report, the driver of that truck, 45-year-old Troy R. Zielinski died at the scene.
The wreck happened several miles north of Chickasha near Highway 81.
Zielinski was driving westbound on County Road 1300 just before 4:30 p.m. Monday when the train struck the cab of his hauler on the passenger side.
