Austin Trout seeks fourth straight win

LAS CRUCES - Former world champion boxer Austin Trout has been stacking wins in the ring.

Trout looks for his fourth consecutive victory on Friday as the main event on a Legacy International Boxing Series show in Wuppertal, Germany against Romanian fighter, Florin Cardos.

Trout, 36, is 34-5-1 with 18 knockout victories. He returns to the ring for the first time since beating Alejandro Davila by unanimous decision in August of 2021. Trout's victory over Davila was in Dubai. Friday's bout will be Trout's third straight fight outside of the United States. He beat Juan Armando Garcia Galvan in February of 2021, in Mexico.

Cardos, 34, is 21-3 with nine knockouts. He is 2-2 in his last four fights, losing his last fight by knockout against Faton Vukshinaj in December of 2021.
