UPDATE: Victims of deadly head-on crash in Tripp County identified

COLOME, S.D.–Two people from the province of Alberta, Canada have been identified as those killed last weekend in a head-on collision a mile east of Colome, South Dakota.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says forty year-old Darsy Larson and 14 year-old Koye Larson of Duchess, Alberta were passengers in a pickup truck that collided head-on with another pickup Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 18.
The other pickup was driven by 33 year-old Justin Hurtado of Winner. He sustained serious injuries. Charges against him are pending.
A total of five people were injured in the crash, which shut down a portion of U.S. Highway 18 for about seven hours.
