PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) —
A bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Community College of Rhode Island Liston Campus on Thursday morning.

The Providence Police Department got a bomb threat call directed at the campus, according to a spokesperson for the Liston Campus.

The spokesperson said that Providence police told the college that the threat was not credible, but campus police evacuated the campus “out of an abundance of caution.”
After a full sweep, the building was deemed safe around 11:27 a.m., the school says.
