GLASGOW — Richardson Stadium at Gorin Park, home to Glasgow Scottie baseball, was destroyed early Thursday during a fire.
The Glasgow Fire Department responded to the fire at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, according to a 911 activity report from Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Communications.
The park is closed Thursday, and officials speculate it will remain closed Friday.
“Please stay out of the Park as it’s a danger to be around the stadium area,” according to a Facebook post by Glasgow Parks and Recreation.
Breakers at the park were recently faulty, according to a source familiar with the matter. The cause of the fire remains unclear, however.
