The City of Buffalo’s Concert in the Park series continues tonight (Thursday).
The free concert series has been a popular part of the summer for many years as residents and visitors relax at Sturges Park to enjoy music of all types at the city bandshell.
Tonight, four musicians from the Wright County area will be featured. “JustUs” will make their first appearance at the Sturges Park bandshell. The group is made up of John Farber of Waverly, Dennis Lingo of Rockford, Darwin Doose of Buffalo, and Christine Passig of Buffalo. The members sang together for years at church and formed JustUs about 7 years ago. They will present songs from many genres, all featuring rich harmonies.
KRWC listeners may already know Christine’s voice, as she sings the Coborn’s jingles heard on the radio, and in Coborn’s stores.
Music begins at 7 PM tonight (Thursday) at the Sturges Park Bandshell.
