A man was arrested Wednesday following a chase with deputies throughout Fresno.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says a man tried speeding away from deputies near Ashlan and Highway 99 and made his way to Riverpark in roughly 25 minutes.

The suspect, identified as Richard Beauregard, was also seen traveling in the wrong lane and driving over center dividers.

According to the sheriff’s office, Beauregard then lost a wheel while heading down Highway 41 just north of Herndon Avenue and was then captured by deputies.

He now faces the following charges: Evading police, auto theft, possession of Heroin, and identity theft.
