According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Carroll has been wanted since January 24th of this year, as he is wanted for questioning in a theft and burglary investigation.

Documents obtained by WDHN say Carroll is listed as a fugitive from justice on 40 charges of possession of forged instrument after an indictment says he used counterfeit $5 bills.

Carroll was arrested for those crimes in December of 2021 and was later released from the Houston County Jail on his own recognizance. Six days later, the wanted poster was listed for Carroll’s arrest.

Now that Carroll is in the custody of the Ozark Police Department, we will now wait and see when he will be taken to Houston County for questioning. He will also likely face various charges there.

Carroll is set for a jury trial for the 40 forged instrument charges on August 29th.
