With charges still pending for the alleged shooter in the latest shooting outside of Chicago on July 4th, the Dallas Cowboys are coming under fire for partnering with a pro-gun coffee company.

According to The Sporting News, Tuesday morning was when the Cowboys revealed their partnership with Salt Lake City-based Black Rifle Coffee Company.

The coffee company is run by veterans with a mission statement that states that they "[serve] coffee and culture to people who love America."

The timing of the announcement could not have been worse than the morning after seven people were killed and numerous others injured at a shooting at a 4th of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois.

The names of the coffees at Black Rifle Coffee Company did not help with names like "Silencer Smooth," Gunship Coffee Rounds," Murdered Out," and "AK-47 Espresso Roast."

Many people that were upset took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the partnership:

A spokesman for Black Rifle Coffee Company said this about the partnership, "BRCC is proud to partner with the Dallas Cowboys, who are strongly committed to our mission of supporting veterans, first responders, and America's men and women in uniform," a Black Rifle spokesman said. "The long-planned announcement was timed to coincide with the Independence Day holiday — America's Team. America's Coffee. America's Birthday."

So the names of the coffee may not be good following a mass shooting, but the company is supporting a good cause.

So however you feel about the partnership, positive or negative, the deal is done for now, but that could change.
