Despite it shaping up as one of the duller seasons we’ve seen in a while, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” keeps chugging away on Season 12. After last week’s silly spat between newbie Denise Jenkins and perennial pot-stirrer Sutton Stracke, Wednesday’s Episode 9, titled, “Calamity Jayne,” sounds like it will once again bring Erika Jayne/Girardi into the spotlight for more eyebrow-raising behavior.
• You can watch “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” at 8 p.m. Wednesdays on Bravo. Episodes stream the following day on Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming service. You can live stream episodes on fubo TV, which offers a free trial.
Just as we’ve recovered from the arguments and questionable outfits that popped up during Garcelle Beauvais’ birthday party last week, tonight also promises more chapters in the distressing saga of Dorit Kemsley’s response to her scary home invasion burglary.
What’s up? Here’s the ever-unhelpful logline for the episode: “Erika lands in hot water with Garcelle over some choice words (which we assume are those discussed here); Kyle tries to atone for some words of her own; Lisa is amused by Diana’s new look; Crystal tries to help Dorit with her ongoing anxieties.”
Another Kyle Richards-tries-to-atone-for-something-she-said plotline? Haven’t we seen that already, in, like, nearly every episode? Ah, well, at least they’re not still in Mexico on that endless-seeming getaway.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, on Bravo.
