PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Two Floyd County residents were arrested early Tuesday morning, after they were found inside a garage without permission.
Pikeville Police received a report that Evan Potter, 30, of Hueysville, and Melody Terry, 41, of Beaver, had broken into a garage on Harolds Branch and were still inside.
Officers responding to the scene found them still there. Potter was spotted in the back of the garage while police were talking to Terry, and when officers searched the area where he was standing, they found two bags of crack cocaine, a bag of heroin, another bag of heroin mixed with an unidentified substance, and a variety of pills.
Both Potter and Terry were arrested and charged with trespassing. Potter was also charged with three counts of drug trafficking.
