The actress, who plays controversial playwright Lexi Howard on Euphoria, is known to sport a striking pout that stands out next to her co-stars’ winged liner looks. Apatow is also the star of the new Adidas x ASOS campaign and, forget clingy summer dresses, we can’t take our eyes off the red lipstick. So when we got ready with her ahead of Armani Prive’s AW haute couture show in Paris, it was no surprise she and makeup artist Vincent Salintri opted for a…bold lip. Definitely Instagram. My TikTok “For You” page eels too personal to watch in front of other people.
What was the inspiration behind your look for the Armani Prive show?
I was so lucky that Vincent sketched up a few different looks. Then Peter Lux, my hairstylist, and Vincent and I decided which would be the strongest.
Who is your number one beauty inspiration?
Audrey Hepburn.
Who takes the longest to get ready: you, your sister, your mom, or your dad?
Definitely my dad.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Paris?
I haven’t spent nearly enough time in Paris, so I am happy to just walk around and explore.
How about your favorite French dish?
French onion soup!
Would you rather: room service or a stroll to a new café?
If I have enough energy, stroll to a new café. But that usually doesn’t happen [laughs].
What are you most looking forward to at the show?
I’ve always been such a fan of Mr. Armani’s elegant and classic designs. I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to see them live and in person this year!
