Liberty picked up a commitment from Eliyt Nairne, according to Damien Sordelett of the Lynchburg News & Advance.

Nairne is a 6’2″, 260 pound athlete that attends Olympic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Liberty, one of the first schools that offered him back in April, are joined by Charlotte, Georgia State, Old Dominion, Navy, Western Kentucky, Kent State, Tulane, East Carolina, among others, that have offered Nairne to this point. When we caught up with him a few weeks ago, Nairne told ASOR that Liberty, East Carolina, Georgia State, and Old Dominion are currently recruiting him the hardest.

Liberty co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Josh Aldridge and defensive line coach Jeremy Garrett are his primary recruiters. Nairne says he also had a good chance to speak with head coach Hugh Freeze during his visit.
