“She’s not the type that I would’ve imagined” are not exactly the words a bride wants to hear walking down the aisle to her future partner, but they will be said on the new season of “Married at First Sight.”
“Married at First Sight” Season 15 premieres on Lifetime on Wednesday, July 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. You can stream it on Philo and FuboTV.
The show follows singles who are ready to take the plunge. They agree to let matchmakers decide select their partners and get married. The couples have a traditional wedding ceremony where they not only meet for the first time, but they also meet their new partner’s friends and family. Following the ceremonies, all the show’s couples take a joint honeymoon before moving in together. When they return, the couples see a team of experts to guide them through the experience and decide if they want to remain married or get divorced. This season, all the couples are from San Diego, California.
The team of experts includes Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper, who have become staples of the series inspiring couples to work through their issues. This season, “Married at First Sight” will introduce DeVon Franklin, Hollywood producer and relationship adviser, and Dr. Pia Holec, a renowned psychotherapist who specializes in sex and couples’ therapy.
