The 2022 Wayne County Bank/Helping Hands Golf Scramble held at the Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course on June 18th was a huge success! Twenty-two teams of four played 18 holes of golf with two flights of winners. We want to thank all of our Corporate, Green, and Tee sponsors as well as those who donated door prizes, food and water for the 88 golfers and Helping Hands directors and volunteers.
Winners of the first flight are: 1st Place: Josh Swinea’s Team, 2nd Place Capstar Bank, and 3rd Place Rex Bevis’ Team
Winners of the second flight are: 1st Place: Roger Smith Agency, 2nd Place: Hassell & Hughes, and 3rd Place: Wayne County Rock
Twelve teams played in the morning round, and 10 in the afternoon. Everyone enjoyed fellowship together at lunch between rounds, and door prizes were given at the end of the day before winners were announced.
