Body of missing Iowa woman found

On Tuesday afternoon, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a call for a missing person in Lockridge, according to a news release.

There were no immediate signs of trauma.
Police believe that Crocker died in Tuesday's dangerous heat.
Crocker is reported to have left her home around noon on Tuesday when the heat index was around 110. Crocker also reportedly suffered from mild dementia.
An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the cause and manner of death.
