According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 6:54 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, troopers engaged in a vehicle pursuit on State Route 36/Coolspring Road, in Oliver Township, Jefferson County, with 20-year-old Logan Christopher Wells, of Indiana, Pa.
After an approximately 20-mile pursuit, Wells subsequently crashed his 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse into a guide rail. Wells was not injured.
He was taken into custody and transported to Jefferson County Jail.
He was arraigned at 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 4, in Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office on the following charges:
– Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer, Felony 3 (two counts)
– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (two counts)
– Driving Under Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor

He is currently free on $20,000.00 unsecured bail.
