Today’s Penn State football news headlines feature a look at how the Lions have recruited and developed at the offensive line position, plus the latest in conference realignment with a wish list for Oregon and Nike mogul Phil Knight.

Penn State could be set to start all former blue-chip offensive line talents for the first time in the modern recruiting era, writes Connor Krause for Nittany Nation. That depth chart projection includes left tackle Olu Fashanu, left guard Landon Tengwall, center Juice Scruggs, right guard Sal Wormley and right tackle Caedan Wallace. The Lions are due to feature 15 scholarship offensive linemen this fall, including nine who had four-star ratings from Rivals.

Pacific-12 insider John Canzano offered a thorough update on where things stand with the league following USC and UCLA’s surprising defection to the Big Ten Conference last week. Oregon remains one of the most coveted targets in the ensuing realignment shuffle, and Canzano reports that the Big Ten is on his wish list for the Ducks. The Pac-12 might have precious few options to replace the firepower it lost, but continues to explore its options, including some form of merger with the Big 12 and/or ACC.
