A Rolla woman and St. Louis man are seriously injured in a crash involving alcohol in Texas County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Megan Strain, 29, of Rolla and Steven Stiner, 43, of St. Louis were riding in an SUV on Highway 63 just north of Licking Tuesday night when the driver traveled into the left lane, overcorrected, then drove off the side of the road. The SUV then became airborne before hitting an embankment and several trees.
Both Strain and Stiner were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, 37-year-old Dannie Wilson of Newburg wasn’t hurt however, he was cited for Driving while intoxicated resulting in a crash.
