State officials confirmed that a stay-at-home Maryland mom had won a lottery prize of at least $100,000 for the third time in five years. The Maryland Lottery reported that the 30-year-old woman from Wicomico County in the state's southeastern corner won her latest prize by playing a $100,000 Lucky scratch-off ticket.

She paid 30 dollars for the lotto ticket at Goose Creek #03 convenience store and gas station in Mardela Springs, a small town located west of the Delaware border. It has a population of 347 during the most recent census, according to USA Today.

State lottery officials reported that the winner chalked her run of luck up to one word, and that is research. The lucky winner said she knew they sold a big ticket a few weeks ago and hoped there was still some luck hanging around. She told lottery officials that they know how lucky they are, according to a release on the website.

Hat trick for Maryland woman as she claims third jackpot win

Lottery officials in Maryland said that the $30 instant ticket debuted last September, and it still has more than 40 top prizes available, according to CNN. The winner could not believe her luck when she saw how much she had won, telling officials that she immediately called her husband and said they did it again.

The woman told officials that she plans to use the money she won for her kids. Lottery officials did not announce the winner's name or release the total of her previous winnings. This might be the third win for the woman, but the feeling never gets old for her, saying that this was as crazy as it was the other times, and it is unbelievable.

She said she would put her money in the bank and watch it grow with the rest of her winnings, saying they are taking good care of it.
