UPDATE: Two wanted by BGPD in connection with catalytic converter thefts

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating two people they say are involved in a theft ring.

BGPD stated detectives have investigated several catalytic converter thefts, which affected multiple Bowling Green businesses and individuals. The thefts have caused vehicle owners to pay thousands of dollars to replace the stolen converters, according to authorities.

BGPD stated this investigation has lasted over a year and charges include engaging in organized crime, multiple theft charges and drug charges.

The grand jury indicted the following: Senad Muratovic, Kentyla Turner, Redzo Beganovic, Jeff Whitaker, Jasmin Muratovic and Ismeta Music.

Jeff Whitaker, Senad Muratovic and Kentyla Turner were arrested and charged.

The BGPD has active warrants for Jasmin Muratovic and Ismeta Music.
