New Dublin pizzeria featuring Columbus and New York style pies opening this week

Can’t decide on whether you want to opt for some Columbus pizza versus a New York-style pie?

Well, now you don’t have to. Black Dog Pizzeria, a brand new Dublin-based pizza concept will specialize in both varieties, according to co-owner Jessica Hellaine. And if you want even more good news, here it is: The new spot plans to hold the grand opening of its first-ever restaurant on July 8.

Black Dog Pizzeria is located at 5923 Karric Square Dr., just south of Downtown Dublin.

Hellaine said the new 1,350 square foot pizzeria will primarily serve as a delivery and take-out spot.

And while Columbus and New York Style pizza will be featured on the menu, the new eatery will also be serving several inventive new sandwich options, including a pizza sub, mortadella and mozzarella stuffed calzone, and more.

Black Dog Pizza will be open from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 4-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4-9 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant will be closed Monday.
