Wyoming County man accused of driving tractor illegally

A Wyoming County man is facing charges after a traffic stop - involving a tractor.

Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies say Ronald A. Townsend, 70, was seen driving his tractor from Tops in Warsaw back to his home.
Deputies say he has a revoked driver's license and was using the tractor as a means of transportation, which is illegal. He was pulled over on Saltvale Road in the Town of Middlebury.
He was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and issued and appearance ticket to return to court at a later date.
