The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Carbon County

• Penn Forest: Hatchery Road pothole patching between Route 903 and Pohopoco Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Kidder Township: Route 940 pothole patching between Route 476 and Monroe County line, 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. starting on Friday and ending near July 27.

Lehigh County

• Upper Macungie and South Whitehall townships, city of Allentown: Route 22 construction between I-78 and 15th Street, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

• Whitehall Township: Route 22 milling and paving between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday through Saturday.

• Various townships: I-78 construction between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 54 (Route 222), 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

• Washington Township: Mountain Road bridge repair between Brown Street and Deer Road, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Various townships: I-78 highway beautification between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County line, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Whitehall Township: Route 22 highway beautification between Route 145 and I-78, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Various townships: I-78 highway beautification between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Northampton County line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Monroe County

• Stroud Township: Poplar Valley Road crack sealing between Old Route 115 and Route 191, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Northampton County

• Various townships: I-78 construction between Exit 67 and Exit 75, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Schuylkill County

• West Penn Township: Route 309 milling and paving between Mill Drive and Overlook Drive, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Ryan, Blythe, and Mahanoy townships: Burma Road pothole patching between St. Clair Borough and Morea Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Mahanoy, Ryan and Blythe townships: Route 54 milling and paving between Mahanoy City and I-81, 6 a.m. to 4 a.m. from Tuesday until Friday.
