Person seriously injured, CPR performed during incident in El Paso's Lower Valley

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) —
One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after an incident in El Paso's Lower Valley on Monday, according to an El Paso Fire Department spokesperson.

CPR was performed on a person on Alameda Avenue near Ophelia Way, according to the spokesperson.

Our crew saw a young woman at the scene with her hands covered in paper bags.
We asked police who were investigating a shooting on Franklin Loop nearby about the incident.
The police officer we spoke to said they were not aware of an incident on Alameda Avenue.
