YEAH, I THANKFULLY MIKE IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE WALKED AWAY FROM THIS WITHOUT ANY SORT OF INJURIES, BUT PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE TELLING US THEIR EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT SAYING ALL OF THIS STARTED REALLY RIGHT AFTER THE FIREWORKS BEGAN JUST WITHIN MINUTES AT FIREWORKS TIPPED OVER STARTED SHOOTING INTO THE CROWD TAKE A LOOK AT THIS CELL PHONE VIDEO. FROM ONE PERSON WHO WAS THERE? THE FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION KICKING OFF AT FOUR THIS AFTERNOON IN WASHINGTON PARKED THE MAIN EVENT THOUGH, OF COURSE WAS THE FIREWORKS THAT ALL SUPPOSED TO BEGIN AROUND 9:15 THIS EVENING, BUT THAT FIREWORKS SHOW LASTED ONLY A FEW MINUTES EYEWITNESSES NEAR THE STAGE SAY A WHERE THOSE FIREWORKS WERE SHOOTING OFF FELL OVER YOU CAN SEE IN THAT CELL PHONE VIDEO ONE HITS A TREE NEXT TO THE STAGE IN THAT FIREWORK BOUNCES TO THE GROUND NEAR CROWDS. THE FIREWORKS SHOW CUTS SHORT. THIS IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT THAT WENT OUT TO THE CROWD. SORRY GUYS, THAT IS THE END OF OUR SHOW FOR TONIGHT. SHOOT UP AND THEN THEY JUST STARTED EXPLODING HERE, RIGHT? IT WAS LIKE NEAR MAYBE LIKE 15 FEET AWAY FROM US. IT STARTED SHOOTING IN THE OPPOSITE AWAY FROM US, AND THEN THEY STARTED SHOOTING LEFT TO US AND A YOUNG MAN CAPTURED THAT CELL PHONE VIDEO. HE SAID HE HAD STARTED ROLLING BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SEND THE FIREWORKS SHOW VIDEO TO HIS PARENTS. UNFORTUNATELY, ALL OF IT CAME TO AN END VERY QUICKLY. THERE WAS ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT TELLING ANYONE WHO MAY BE HURT TO COME TO THE FRONT NEITHER STAGE, BUT POLICE THERE ON SCENE TELLING US THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF A

Viewer video sent to WLWT shows the moments in the crowd as people started clearing the area. In the video, fireworks can be seen hitting trees and bouncing near the crowd of spectators. Organizers of the celebration quickly cancelled the show due to technical difficulties.
