Crowds turned out for the 55th annual Millcreek Fourth of July parade Monday.

The parade on W. 12th St. started at Marshall St. and proceeded to the American Legion.

The parade was action-packed with marching bands, floats, fire trucks, roller derby, BMX, clowns and plenty of candy for the kids.

"It is very important," said parade goer Madison Lombardi. "It was really fun to take the kids today - busy and super packed."

More fireworks and festivities were planned for Monday including fireworks in Lawrence Park at 10 p.m. and fireworks at Gibson Park in North East starting at dusk.
