Pedestrian struck and injured by vehicle in Waupaca County

FREMONT (WLUK) -- A pedestrian was flown to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Waupaca County over the weekend.

It happened Saturday around 11:30 p.m. on Tustin Road, in the village of Fremont.
Initial crash findings indicated the vehicle was traveling northbound on Tustin Road between the Highway 10 overpass and Lind Street when it hit a pedestrian walking along Tustin Road.
Witnesses stopped to render aid and call 911.
The female driver was not injured as a result of the crash.

Authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor.
