Police: Man in hospital after shooting on I-630

Little Rock police and Arkansas State Police were at the scene of a shooting incident on I-630 that led to some lane closures.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark —
According to reports, the Arkansas Department of Transportation stated that some kind of police incident began close to 1:30p.m. on Monday afternoon. 

Little Rock police and the Arkansas State police were at a scene on Interstate 630 Westbound.

Reports said that a shooting between two cars on I-30 in North Little Rock sent one man to the hospital and it also prompted state police and highway officials to alert drivers on I-630 near MacArthur Park

Arkansas State Police said that a vehicle "peppered " another vehicle, hitting a passenger inside that vehicle in the leg, near Curtis Sykes Drive in North Little Rock. 

Police state that the person hit by gunshot was left with non-life threatening injuries but they are not releasing the identity of the victim just yet.  

Details into this situation are very limited but ARDOT has said that the outside, middle, and right shoulder lanes were all affected.
