CARMI, Ill (WEHT) – Officials have not yet released what caused a large fire in Carmi on Saturday morning.
Officials say the fire happened during the early hours at the old lumber yard. No serious injuries were reported, but witnesses say the building was destroyed and several buildings near the scene were also damaged, including the roof of the nearby Carmi Water Department building and several nearby homes.
