Fischl and Diluc are the latest characters to receive their own outfits! Their skins release on Genshin Impact 2.8.

Their outfit teaser has been revealed, too!

Fischl Skin: Ein Immernachtstraum

A ceremonial outfit for the Prinzessin. May she who is noble retain her courage, sincerity, and kindness forever, such taht no evil shall ever overcome her.

Fischl's outfit is named “Ein Immernachtstraum.” A mouthful for sure, but this much is expected for the Prinzessin der Verurteilung Fischl von Luftschloss Narfidort. The skin's name is in German, which directly translates to “an everlasting night's dream.” Fans have pointed out that this might be a reference to the William Shakespeare work “A Midsummer Night's Dream,” whose German title is Ein Sommernachtstraum.

Here's the splash art for the skin:

It portrays Fischl in an extravagant purple dress, with rose themes scattered all across it. A matching crown sits atop her head, as deserved by the Prinzessin. The background that portrays a dream-like castle, as well as the starry clouds forming around her feet fits the “everlasting dream” that this outfit is named after. Unfortunately, Fischl's avian companion Oz is nowhere to be seen in the splash.

Genshin Impact players who are also players of HoYoverse's other IP Honkai Impact 3rd were quick to point out the similarities between this skin and Rita Rossweisse's Fallen Rosemary Battle Suit. Both outifts share the same color scheme, involve a headpiece, and incorporate violet roses in its design. Check out Fallen Rosemary:

During Genshin Impact 2.8, Ein Immernachtstraum can be claimed for free as a reward by playing the event Resonating Visions! Afterwards, it will be on the shop available for purchase with a 1680 Genesis Crystal price tag on it.

Diluc Skin: Red Dead of Night

One of the outfits Diluc wears during covert actions, it resembles a flame dancing in the shadows. The crimson red traces it leaves behind at the edges of the enemy's vision will scar their nightmares forever.

Diluc's new outfit is named “Red Dead of Night.” The Genshin Impact 2.8 Livestream stressed how much backstory there is behind this skin, and even designed a whole event for it: Hidden Strife. During the event, you can event give the skin a test drive. Red Dead of Night is the first 5 star skin, and features new skill effects and idle animations.

Here's the splash:

Diluc stands proudly, brandishing his Wolf's Gravestone. Flames surround him, and he gets his ablaze bird companion behind him. The flames in this skin are of a darker shade, mirroring the altered effects the skin also has in-game. He seems to wear his ponytail slightly higher, too. As for his clothes, he wears a red-themed coat as opposed to his regular black, and have more detailing in his lower half, too. Grey straps and belts wrap his thighs, matching with his ashen pair of boots. Even the ground is cracking under the mere presence of this man and his “too hot to handle” aura.

Here's a side by side comparison of the animations for Red Dead of Night on the left, and standard Diluc on the right:

Red Dead of Night will be on sale for 1980 Genesis Crystals for the duration of Genshin Impact 2.8, and will revert to its full price of 2480 Genesis Crystals afterwards.
