CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Jamrok Caribbean Buffet has been open in Clarksville since December is now a new member of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. Andral Dawkins and his wife, Rocquell, are the owners of the restaurant.
Rocquell Dawkins said they offer stewed chicken, curry chicken, jerk chicken, chickpeas and desserts. Dawkins is from Guyana and her husband is from Jamaica, so the food is a mix of both countries and both cultures.
“It’s a buffet-style setup, not like your typical Caribbean restaurant. You can choose anywhere from 25 t0 30 plus dishes on any given day. We have a juice bar and fresh fruits and vegetables every time we are open,” Andral Dawkins said.
Jamrok Caribbean Buffet is at 3441 Fort Campbell Blvd., and they are open seven days a week from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
