The shooting was reported at 3:30 a.m.

A shooting victim who was dropped off at a Kansas City hospital early Monday has died.Kansas City police said officers were called at 3:30 a.m. to Research Hospital on a shooting victim who had arrived by private car.Authorities said doctors declared the man died.A preliminary investigation found the man may have been shot near Bannister and Raytown roads. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Jai'Bryn Johnson. Detectives are interviewing the people who came in with the victim at this time to determine exactly where the shooting occurred.
