Bartlesville High basketball standout David Castillo is two games into his second-appearance on Team USA. Castillo and the U17 club is 2-0 after a couple games this weekend in Spain during the FIBA World Cup.

Team USA beat Lebanon 120-44 on Saturday after a team-high 21 points from Castillo. The Bruin scored 21 points on 8-11 shooting and going 5-7 three-point range.  Castillo did all that in only 19 minutes played.

Meanwhile yesterday America got its second win in an 88-55 win over Slovenia. Castillo scored eight points off the bench in 23 minutes.

He made another two three-pointers, including this one to give Team USA a 23-21 lead early.

The U.S. leads Group C with one game remaining. The group phase concludes for the USA on Tuesday, with a matchup against Mali at 1:45 PM.
