REPORTER: NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE IN THE MOOD FOR THEY WILL HAVE IT IN A FOOD TRUCK THIS WEEK, SEE ALL THE DIFFERENT FOOD TRUCKS LINED UP HERE IN HARRISBURG AHEAD OF TONIGHT’S FIREWORKS SHOWS. >> IT’S GREAT. THE WEATHER, THE PEOPLE, GOOD TIMES. REPORTER: THAT SENTIMENT SHARED AMONGST A LOT OF PEOPLE AT THE FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL, INCLUDING OVER AT LUCKY PENNY BURGER COMPANY’S FOOD TRUCK. >> IT’S REALLY REFRESHING TO SEE THINGS GET BACK TO NORMAL AND EVERYBODY GETTING OUT AND HAVING A GOOD TIME, ESPECIALLY ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. REPORTER: AND THERE’S MORE TO DO THAN JUST EAT BEFORE THE FIREWORKS. >> WE HAVE SOME FREE KIDS ACTIVITIES, FREE FACE PAINTING, AND HENNA AS WELL AS LIVE MUSIC. REPORTER: PEOPLE CAN SEE NOT JUST ONE, BUT TWO FIREWORKS SHOWS LAUNCHING FROM CITY ISLAND THE HARRISBURG SENATORS WILL LAUNCH THEIR FIREWORKS AFTER TONIGHT’S GAME AND THE CITY IS AIMING TO SHOOT THEIRS INTO THE SKY AROUND 9:15. >> I HAVEN’T REALLY SEEN FIREWORKS IN A FEW YEARS, Y’KNOW FOR A FOURTH OF JULY EVENT IT KIND OF MAKES IT SPECIAL. >> IF YOU’RE COMING FOR THE FOOD OF FIREWORKS THE CITY SAYS PARKING DOWNTOWN ALONG THE TREE WILL BE FREE AND IS ALSO PAI

Food truck festival, fireworks for July Fourth in Harrisburg
The city of Harrisburg is celebrating Independence Day with a food truck festival.There will be more than 45 food trucks with a variety of fare at Riverfront Park on July Fourth. The festival runs from 1 to 9 p.m., ending with a big fireworks display. "Harrisburg is at its best on days like this, when families can experience our city together. We really can't wait to see the fun they're going to have when they come to Riverfront Park," said Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams.Several musical acts are also scheduled for the day. And there will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion starting at 4 p.m. ParkingIf you want to go, you can choose from free street parking or parking at City Island, which will be $5 per vehicle. You can park at the Market Street Square garage from 1 p.m. to midnight for $10 per vehicle. There is also handicapped parking on State Street and free bike parking at Walnut Street.
