Authorities in Boston responded to multiple shootings overnight, landing several people in the hospital, according to several media reports.
7News reports at least seven people were taken to area hospitals following the violence overnight.
According to WCVB, the shootings, which started just before 10:45 p.m Saturday, include a shooting on Woodbole Avenue in Mattapan, in which one person was hospitalized, a shooting on Greenville Street in Roxbury, where another person was hospitalized. 7News reported that investigators appeared to be focused around a home with balloons outside.
A crime scene was also established near Nubian Square with another person hospitalized, the stations reported. And a shooting around 12:30 Sunday morning near the Ashmont MBTA station resulted in three people taken to the hospital.
