Hear the Music in Camden on Independence Day

Mon, 07/04/2022 - 7:15am

Celebrate the 4th of July with music in downtown Camden courtesy of the Camden Rotary Club.

The club’s annual Music by the Sea Celebration is open to all, free of charge.

Here’s the lineup:

  • The Bay Chamber Concerts Jazz Ensemble will perform at noon on the Village Green

From then on, the music will move to the Camden Library Amphitheatre:

  • The Casco Bay Wind Symphony presents Broadway and popular music from 2:00 to 3:15.
  • Singer-Songwriter Chris Ross performs from  4:00 to 5:00.
  • The Right Track gets the crowd on their feet with danceable rhythm and blues from 6:00 to 7:15.

Seating is limited, so consider bringing beach chairs and blankets. Pack a picnic and enjoy a beautiful afternoon with your family and friends.

Thanks to donations from generous sponsors, Music by the Sea is always free to the public. In addition to funding the event, sponsorships support the club’s annual grants to nonprofit organizations in Knox County and Lincolnville. Sponsorships of this year’s celebration will help fund next year’s round of grants to non-profits and youth programs.
