Battlefield Mall to host 8th annual 'Big Rig Night' in Springfield

Battlefield Mall will be teaming up with Community Partnership of the Ozarks and Parents as Teachers to host the 8th annual Big Rig Night on July 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at 2825 S. Glenstone Ave.

Big Rig Night is an event that brings a variety of large vehicles — semi-trucks, buses, construction vehicles, delivery trucks, firetrucks, police cars, ambulances and more — to the mall parking lot for kids to check out.

This free community event will feature live music, games and food trucks. Kids can also enjoy face-painting, balloon animals and magic tricks from The Fishin' Magicians.

Food vendors will include four food trucks: Fat Tony's Pizza, Doggy Style hot dogs, Sno Ballz, and AM Coffee and Donuts.
