At the entrance to the 2 covered bridges in Oley Township, a new sign has appeared: “Bicyclists Dismount.” Not sure why they are being told to dismount, because as a kid I used to ride my bike through covered bridges. First time ever in 5 decades, the Biden administration in the midst of an oil supply crisis missed the deadline for the sale of offshore oil and gas leases. So no new sales of oil and gas leases this year. This miss violates federal laws that were passed 5 decades ago. This will cause another round of increases in gasoline prices. Days before the January 6 mostly peaceful protest, President Trump authorized 20,000 National Guard troops to be deployed to protect the Capitol. Yet Nancy Pelosi and Mayor Bowser turned down those troops until after the mostly peaceful protest. Logically it makes no sense for someone who allegedly wanted an insurrection to offer troops to protect against the insurrection. Let’s investigate why the troops were turned down, and how many federal agents were in the crowd.

Just confused about our legal system. A girl that was intoxicated, driving at a high rate of speed and killed two PA state troopers and a pedestrian was given bail but a mom charged in the death of a child isn’t given bail. I understand a child is helpless but where is the difference? A life is a life! Must be a different message being sent.

Neither are Miranda rights, the right to run for office, or the right to cross state lines. Long past time for checks and balances on the Supreme Court!
The Republican Party has never done anything for the middle class. The Democratic Party on the other hand has given us Social Security, Medicare, Obamacare and so on. Climate change cultists now claim that the Pentagon is concerned about the effect of climate change on waging war. I guess bombs won’t explode or bullets won’t kill or planes won’t fly, etc. For thousands of years, military personnel has dealt with extreme conditions and our military is no different. Just because a couple of politically savvy Generals want to be the Joint Chief, doesn’t mean it is a valid concern.
