Four men between the ages of 23 and 26 were shot during a large gathering at a car wash in Manassas, Va. late Sunday evening, according to Prince William County Police.
The shooting took place in Sams Car Wash parking lot in the 8000 block of Sudley Road. Police responded to the area a few minutes before midnight.
The investigation revealed a large gathering at the location when an argument ensued. The altercation escalated, according to police, and multiple gunshots were fired before the crowd dispersed.
While investigating the incident, an adult man was located in the area of Nimitz Court and Fairmount Avenue suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers responded to the area and provided immediate first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived on the scene.
Two more men were driven to an area hospital, also suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.
Officers arrived at the hospital and determined the two men were present at the shooting. A fourth man was also later identified as being at the location at the time of the shooting and had been shot, authorities determined.
Police reported that three of the men were flown to an area trauma center while the fourth man was ground transported.
The men range in age from 23 to 26 and all injuries are believed to be non-life threatening, police said.
Detectives are actively investigating the shooting to identify the parties involved.
