BALTIMORE — An unsettled weather pattern takes hold of the forecast beginning tomorrow. A complex of storms will leave the Great Lakes region and push into our area tomorrow afternoon. Air at the surface will be very unstable and moist, but dry air aloft should damp down on a widespread severe weather outbreak in our region. Nonetheless, with such instability at the surface we at least have a slight risk of seeing strong to severe storms as the system moves through our region. Given the amount of energy and shear present—any storm that taps into that energy will have potential to produce all severe weather modes. Damaging wind, heavy rain, hail, and an isolated tornado are not out of the question.
