Shippensburg rising senior Tucker Chamberlin told PennLive Sunday that he plans to play at Millersville.

“They are all in on me, made me feel at home, and have a winning culture,” Chamberlin said.

The 6-foot, 170 pounder is also the starting quarterback for the Greyhounds and he said Millersville appreciated that.

“The like the multiple sports aspect about me and the two-way ability at (pitcher and shortstop),” he added.

Chamberlin was recently a PennLive first-team All-Star pick as a pitcher after posting a 6-1 mark with a 1.05 ERA with 76 strikeouts in just 43 innings last season. He also hit .339 with four doubles and 17 runs scored.

“It feels relieving to have made my commitment and now I’ll work on becoming even better,” he said. “Playing at the next level is a blessing, and will only help me become a better person and player overall. "
