Seattle among Top 10 cities for celebrating Fourth of July


It's no secret to us that Seattle knows how to party! Now there's some data to prove it.

Statistic website WalletHub found Seattle ranks eighth among the best U.S. cities to celebrate Independence Day.

Our score for activities, attractions and variety of 4th of July celebrations helped secure our spot in the Top 10. While financial factors like high alcohol prices kept us from scoring higher. In fact, Seattle ranked last for affordability. Oof.

The best place to celebrate 4th of July? The study gave that distinction to San Francisco, with New Orleans rounding out the Top 10.
